How Does It Work?

Step 1
Put items on hold using your Union City Public Library Account or email us at library@uclibrary.org or call us at 201-866-7500 (Main Library) or 201-866-7503 (Branch Library). Please note that since the delivery between branches has been resumed, you can now choose the pick-up location—either the the Main Library or the Branch Library.

Step 2
Wait for an email or phone call that your items are ready to be picked up.

Step 3
Book a pickup appointment. You may only book a pick-up appointment AFTER receiving a pickup notice from the Library that your items are ready. If you miss your appointment, please schedule another. Since we only have so many appointment slots per day, we may be unable to reschedule pickup for the same day.

Step 4
Come to the library during your appointment window. Please bring your photo ID. All items will be checked out to you and bagged. The Main Library pick-up location is the 43rd Street entrance; the Branch Library pick-up location is the Summit Avenue entrance.
